just thought i'd share this that happened to me the other day.
i gets chatting to a lad i know from down my street, he tells me his nephew had just found an acrylic aquarium near his house and is hoping to get a goldfish. the guy knows i keep fish so asked where the best place to get fish was and how to set the tank up etc. so i goes to his nephews house and sees the tank complete with hood and gave him an old small air pump i had. anyway we cleans the tank out and checked it over for damage and was glad it held water. we set it up with a 75w heater and left it running,

i went back after a few days with a sponge filter id had in my aquarium and did water change etc.
after 2 or 3 weeks i gave him a few baby guppies i had and left him to enjoy his new aquarium

he came down tonight to tell me his fish are awesome and thanked me, showing me pictures he had taken on his mums fone, by the way the boy is only  years old
