Re: Come on Boris, give us some good news!

mantis yes....it’s actually next to impossible to get benefits these days. Even with diagnosed medical conditions, a half hour appointment with someone who doesn’t know you claims you’re absolutely fit and well. You have certain work related commitments you must fulfill or you’re sanctioned. It tak...

Re: Come on Boris, give us some good news!

Being a single parent on benefits, no maintenance payments, I am entitled to free school meals for my boy (in Scotland). However, thanks to his various medical conditions, he can only eat food from home and will likely be packed lunches his entire life. I was meant to get money over our half term to...

Definitely a liquid test kit - there was a good deal on the API one on Amazon recently. For a 90L and soft water, forget Mollys entirely. If you like barbs, then cherry barbs are great for a community; I really love mine. You could probably have 6 cherries, 6 tetra and a gourami or a ram quite easily.

Re: New 56L tank.

I’d basically go to Aquarium Gardens or AquaEssentials website and take a look at what they have for background, mid and foreground plants. Cryptocoryne comes in different species and different sizes. I personally love wendtii and undulatus. Different Anubias too; hastifolia is tall compared to your...

Re: New Tank Log: VikingMummy

Yeah....I have Pumpkin in with Ghost and he’s about as much snail as I really want....i’ll See. I’ll get the filter floss to it with my water change tomorrow and drop the lights down a bit; I had increased them to 8.5 hours to encourage enough algae for the ottos but obviously it’s the wrong sort fo...

Oooh....my Red Diamond Amazon sword has joined in the flowering! https://i.postimg.cc/5jd0dXYf/2-D0-D5-D41-093-A-406-E-8-DAB-4-F773594086-C.jpg It’ll be interesting to see if it opens up! Also noticed a huge amount of green spot algae on the glass. It’s a distinct line across the back wall so must b...
