Thanks Ian! What are your thoughts on the cories with Tropica soil? It's smooth rounded light granules. I know.you have pandas too.

Re: What's up with this panda cory?
Thanks, I'll try Sterazin.
I can't remove the Tropica soil sadly. How much of an issue is it to keep cories on it? We can't get a second tank

What's up with this panda cory?
Hello all! My 72l tank is ticking along nicely, except for a panda cory issue. I bought 6 of them about 4 months ago, juveniles, seemed active and healthy. I noticed about a month ago that 4 had grown well and look adult size, but 2 had barely grown at all. One died sadly. The other tends to sit lis...

Re: Fish recommendations for a beginner - hard water - 19 gallon
I have the same sized tank. With hard water and a preference for no heater, I would choose white cloud mountain minnows or cherry barbs (or a combination of the two). This would give you an active and lively tank, and as long as it's a centrally heated house with the water temperature staying above ...

Re: Re: GOT!: Shrimp in the Manchester area
Thank you! Really appreciate all the helpful advice. I do have Gamma brand Tubifex but sounds best not to risk it?

Re: Re: GOT!: Shrimp in the Manchester area
They are red cherry shrimp (neocaridina). I didn't buy them as a specific colour grade but they are a beautiful deep red (I've been looking for a while but could only find the translucent ones). Decent sized adults.

Re: New Tank Log: VikingMummy
VikingMummy2015 just catching up with your log. Your tank is looking amazing, and those plants! Your Crypt balansae growth is giving me hope (you have soft water too if I recall right?) I noticed you mentioned the funny noise your Oase Biomaster makes - did you ever work out what it was? I have the...
