New shop in Runcorn, on the Heath business park - owned and ran by a chap called Steve who used to be a lead aquarist at Blue Planet in chester, and also worked as head aquarist at Chester Zoo. He breeds a lot of fish at his own fish room, and imports some belters. he has some stunning Ameca Splende...

I used to fish in my younger days, and i remember one fishery near appley bridge in wigan used to have goldfish and sturgeon as part of its stock. The goldfish were huge!

Those facebook groups are a hive of bullying, I joined a couple recently and really struggle with some of the language and aggression shown.

i'll second the purigen, i bought a tub (£12 i think) and some pouches, first bag will need to come out this week - i dont know if i will regen it or not yet - but it definitely works.

If you already have mollies then I would suggest not getting any other poecilia species (guppies/endlers) as they will interbreed and the females will have problems giving birth to the live fry. I'm thinking of starting my 90ltr back up for some guppy/endlers and different shrimp, needs a good clea...

I'm a massive massive fan of guppies, and I think a few may make there way in.
I've already got swordtails and mollys and know they can act as a dither fish for the firemouth cichlid as they are found in the same water courses, decisions decisions!

Definitely have all the shrimps and shrimplets. Strangely ebough they seem to be more bold in the bigger aquarium! They're not hiding as much and are happily cruising about from plant to plant. Martinspuddle i didn't pay for it, and after a bit of research the 5 foot 450 litre would've been too long...
