The fish would probably love the softer, not errr crunchy bits!! I'd be more worried about any nasties like parasites or suchlike getting in the tank. How on earth would you clean a dead crickety grasshoppery type thing Rolleyes

The outer skeleton might be too tough for smaller fish. It would be perfect for bigger cichlids or archer fish sort of thing. You could dig for worms or check under stones for small wormies.
