Egg Laying?
#1
One of my Discuss is behaving oddly, it is aligning up against one of the plants but I can't see any signs of eggs.

I have seen this with our apistos when we first got them, it was like ghost laying. The female seemed to line up with the filter and run a line down and repeat a couple of times before our male followed suit. But they never laid eggs on the filter after all that.
Just a thought as they are cichlids Smile
 😇 Heaven doesn’t want me...
And Hell is afraid I’ll take over! 😈

Normally you see them fastidiously cleaning a patch of glass or stone before doing this but if they're young and maturing then maybe it's their instincts just beginning to kick in.
