Poorly Red lizard whiptail
#1
Don't know what has happened but I have returned from four days away to find one of my whiptails upside down seemingly dead. When I went to net it out he/she moved slightly not able to to turn over but wiggling about (barely) I have set up a QT tank and added the only thing I had handy, melafix. Does anyone have any ideas ..he looks thin but otherwise intact, can't see any sores or anything. I can't actually tell he is breathing as there is next to no movement until I try to check him. Everyone else in the tank is fine, including the other whiptail. I have done a water change in the tank just incase. My test kit is out of date ( didn't realize!) Having tried it everything just stays crystal clear just like the water!
I've ordered a fresh one so here's hoping it turns up Friday.
Any thoughts appreciated I'm not sure if he will last the night. Sad

aww poor whiptail. I found when they get to thin they slowly starve. Hopefully in QT you can keep the water spotless, put food pretty much in front of it and keep a closer eye on it.
