Starve days
#1
We have noticed that on starve days the fish are more active and a little aggressive with each other. I understand this might be part of the search for food , does anyone else notice this and any suggestion.

Never had any aggressiveness myself Annie, and I only feed every other day myself.  Wink

It’s not violent but lots of chasing about, zipping up and down the tank sometimes a little of what looks like ‘nose to nose’ facing off haha ! Maybe I’m misreading it cos I feel bad I have a starve day Big Grin

They’re just kicking off because they’re annoyed at you for starving them (how dare you).

They’ll get over it Smile

Yeah I don't do starve days deliberately though they might have one if we're away. It won't hurt them but I feel bad eating my dinner while they glare at me aggressively Wink You could just feed slightly less over 7 days if you're concerned? Or ignore them!

I don't have starve days regularly, just when I'm not around, so i wouldn't know if they get aggressive or not..... Wink Big Grin
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! Big Grin
