food storage
#1
so im in a bit of a dilema here.
i have in my fish shed various foods for my fish, frozen, dried, flake, live etc
frozen food is stored in mt freezer, but should i store my  food (hikari first bites), flake food, pellets etc in may fridge
some sites say yes it helps keep it fresh, some say no, it can make it damp

any help appreciated
theres no such a thing as a stupid question!
its just an answer you dont know

I've never kept dried food in the fridge. You should make sure it's in an airtight container to stop moisture getting in. The fridge itself won't make it damp. Being open anywhere will.

I dont store dried fish food in the fridge. It's just under the tank in the cupboard or on a shelf.

The shrimp food I keep in Tupperware boxes, including the dried veg in a different Tupperware box.

My Frozen food goes in freezer. Shocking I know  Tongue

in the unit under the tank. i normally use hikari pellets which are in a resealable foil packet so that helps keep them fresh Big Grin
