Very many thanks for your thoughts which agree with what I had in mind too. The caudal filaments and the way the fish interact with each other suggest they are all males. However, I can keep hoping. There's not much else to do as the chance of getting any more is slim.

It's interesting what you say about the females being the first to drop, and that's what I experienced previously with my other Paros. I don't know why, sadly. It's not something I've read about anywhere else. It's frustrating to put lots of effort into providing an ideal environment for them to breed, and then find they can't because they're all males!

I also find the 'Projekt' website rather difficult to navigate, and although I have had a couple of replies on their forum it's not very active.
