eBay seller grrrr!
#1
I ordered some JMC high protein pellets from a seller on ebay.
The payment went through and I received confirmation from Paypal.
I had a message from the seller to say the item had been despatched. All good so far.

Today I received a message that I had received a refund from the seller.
The reason: Buyer asked to cancel the order.
This is a blatant lie.

How do the sellers get away with it?
I need some JMC high protein pellets for my corydoras.
I have now ordered it from Amazon.

Grrrr!
BTW the seller is discountaquatics (also trading as NORBRECK NURSERIES LIMITED aka www.aquatics-warehouse.co.uk)
6 foot (600L) South America Rio Guaporé theme.

Look on the bright side, at least you got your money back!

My guess is the item was ether lost, damaged or not in stock.

I've used them before without problems. I guess they have that much stuff selling over three company addresses that sometimes they sell out quicker than they expect. The bright side is they have refunded you asap Smile

Fair enough if they went out of stock unexpectedly or the like but it’s that they said it was dispatched when it clearly wasn’t. They should have apologised and refunded not lied. I hate the eBay people who do that. I’ve bought something at 3 am before and it’s been ‘dispatched’ 5 minutes later.......no it hasn’t. Just be honest, why is that so difficult? Grrrr!

I received an email saying:
"I am sorry there has been a problem with your order. When it was being packed it was noticed that it was damaged. Unfortunately it was our last one and we might not get any back in stock until later next week. We realize that you will not want to wait that long and will want to cancel so we have done that for you and refunded in full.

My apologies again"

That's a fair reply but to state "Buyer asked to cancel the order" is untrue.
I would of accepted a damaged product (with a discount) had they asked.

Case closed.

I dont sell on ebay. Is that reason they put preset reasons or free type? If they have to pick options maybe there wasnt one that suited this situation. Good to see they won't just send out damaged stock though!

They choose that because if they choose any other option then the buyer has to respond. If they say the buyer asked to cancel then it will cancel straight away.
