Phantom tetras
#1
Hello

I got 6 phantoms mix of male female, one was swimming like it had a weight on its tale, so quarantined him also one had just had an eyeball ripped out so put him in quarantine, they seemed ok after week to returned to main tank, within a few minutes another phantom had its eyeball removed arrrr, horror show, so at present inhave 4 left, 3 seem absolutely fine but the fourth i just noticed has no eyes now, arrr, so all i habe in tank are cardinals, corys , shrimps and a pair of golden eye dwarf cichlids, the cichlids whenever i watch seem so peaceful, does anyone think its the cichlids as i dont imagine the phantoms ate hurting each other that bad

Phantoms will bicker among themselves.
I can't imagine goldeneyes taking eyes from other fish. If it were paradise fish, then that's another matter......
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! Big Grin

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!
