That's normal, they like to breathe air quite often, mine is swimming across the length of the tank, just below the surface, very quickly. It just doesn't stop all day!

Mine are scavaging on the surface..

Yours is what's called glasssurfing and is often seen in case of new Corys. It is a way of adapting.
