Catfish Identity
#1
Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone can help in identifying my recently adopted catfish?

Picture attached.

Thank you in advance.

Hey there, looks like one of the Schistura species I think, so not a catfish but a loach.

I had one very similar about 5 years ago. A great little fish and very energetic. I was gutted when he found a very small gap in the cover glass and jumped the tank.

I think it may well be a garra.
Possibly garra cambodgiensis.
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! Big Grin

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

Mobiles are way too complicated for me, although I do have one now. Wink

Does't the garra cambodgiensis have a distinctive stripe?

It’s a Panda Loach, Yaoshania pachychilus, in the process of changing from juvenile to adult pattern.
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.
