When we loose any pet, its the same as loosing a family member, they are part of the family.

I’m not ashamed to admit i broke down pretty badly when we lost Smudge, my OH said she never wants to hear or see me like that ever again (she regards me as the strong one and it broke her seeing me that way).
As Ian says they’re family, and its a mark of their charcter and how much you cared when you miss them.
 😇 Heaven doesn’t want me...
And Hell is afraid I’ll take over! 😈

I have to admit I cried like a baby when my son brought him home from the vets and all the time I was burying him in the garden. I just could not bring myself to take him. Tears are flowing now as I type this, been a very sad couple of days in our houshold.

Just remember him and the good times you had, it shows you are a descent human being for showing emotions. When I had to euthanase one of my Pearls I cried my eyes out.

Thanks Ian for those kind words. Lots of good memories of playing with him and the others in the garden so will hang on to those.
