Then again, that was marine lighting, you can double the price for that alone.

But marine stuff looks so funky though and most can be re-used on freshwater and they last for years (that’s how I justified a £400 light to myself in the shop!!) Big Grin

I justify it by the fact that my other hobby I can go out and spend hundreds and use it once a year sometimes where as this will be running and being using a lot more. If I can spend the extra on things that the majority of the time sit in the garage then why skimp on quality now.

Is the Aquasky no good for even low light plants? I'm not going to crazy with this tank. I will leave that for the next one once immoral experiences you could say.

Aquarium Coop sold it for me when he dunked it under water for a while.

Well if I pay cash and lose the receipt and the packaging the Missis will never know, if I got collard on the way in I will say the random people on the Forum made me do it

lmfao! i've seen them on a 16" high tank struggling to grow low light plants ( Previous version though ) and the words from a friend ( who used to own and run a couple LFS ) were simply "Dont waste ya money, there s**t" lol! there good if you want to light up a a shallow tank with decorations and few low light plants.

Depends on the light. My TMC is very adjustable and has lots of colour variations I can play with. I can go from full on white/blue reef to pretty red/greeny/planty spectrum. It’s what sold it to me. Plus the fact it has a lightning storm setting that is excellent, a setting that is totally pointless and useless except when showing off Big Grin
