I just spot dose where the algae is in the tank. I've never taken the plants out to use it.

I recently did this, removed all rocks and plants and dipped for 3 mins. Killed it all off brilliantly, but all my anubis melted away soon after. All other plants were unaffected.

I recently had issues with a lot of BBA, took a bit of a holistic approach but in the last week I am now finally clear (it's taken about 3 months).
Carbon swings/varying CO2 levels are a big contributor to BBA. If you use liquid CO2, accidentally varying doses or missing doses really helps this stuff grow. I also ended up stopping liquid plant ferts entirely. Also removing my airstone is what finally finished it off, as I didn't realise I was essentially bleaching my tank of CO2 overnight (it was on a timer) causing swings in CO2 levels. Also added Phosphate removal pads to my filter as I think my tap water is slightly elevated. The combination of these and also adding a pair of SAEs, and 3 months later my tank is finally BBA free.
I found spot dosing with H202 made very little difference to my BBA. I also tried mixed H202/liquid C02 direct application as many youtubers rave about this, but that didn't work either.

I'm with Benville. I had a bad case of BBA and treatment hardly touched it.
It was only when I tweaked everything (lights, ferts, feeding, adding eaters etc) that it got out-competed and faded away.
Spot dosing might kill it off (or at least what you can see), but if you carry on creating good conditions for it, it'll come back.

What mix ratio did you use? That’s what I’m doing it on my Anubis so worried may do the same .

It was undiluted 3% concentration. The anubis all melted away within 2 weeks. Weirdly,, it was only anubis tho - everything else was unharmed
