New plants browning

First off I wish you all a merry christmas! I have a new tank with a planted setup. I know to expect some browning when moving new plants to a tank but how much browning is normal? I am dosing the water and I have also got a CO2 system running although I think my CO2 might be a little low.

Cut the brown ones off.
How soft is your water? Vallis (?) isn't particularly good in soft water, but it should pick up if it's hard.
