Hope you don't mind me resurrecting this thread - is there a possibility that EI ferts could be causing BBA? It seems to be coming back every time I start to use micro?

It’s possible. This is part of the fun of EI dosing, depending on your starting water and nutrient levels, the mix of ferts will require adjusting. It maybe worth leaving out the micro (your pretty near me aren’t you?) as there maybe enough already in the water, and adding more is just giving algae food if its not being used by the plants.jammedfool wrote: ↑Mon Mar 28, 2022 13:15 pm Hope you don't mind me resurrecting this thread - is there a possibility that EI ferts could be causing BBA? The only other thing i found with EI is it can be a bit punishing if you miss a day or are a bit out of sync with water changes, because an excesses get used by algae and any deficiencies start affecting the plants.
