Fluval Plant 3.0

Hi Guys,

I was wondering what settings you use / recommend with the Fluval Plant 3.0?

I currently run the below and my plants do well but my carpet plant isn’t spreading as fast as I would of hoped, also some of my plants are appearing brown? I feed them duly and inject co2.

You don’t seem to put the light on for very long or have any blue, why is this?

Well spotted, I have the original light that came with the Fluval 240 on a timer which comes on at 3pm and goes off at 5pm
After reading Fraggy's post I'm dropping the red down, and increasing the blue.

@fr499y what sort of percentages do you recommend?

I always had red at 100% to bring out the colours of the fish

I'd run the reds slightly lower than the natural and warm white.
