Use aqadvisor as it is an excellent guide.
There are a few things that are not accurate such as some filters and some fish but it is still a very good guide.
Not all fish are listed but find a fish that is listed which is the same shape and size and use that one instead.

I second Aqadvisor as a great starting point, also gives good guidelines on ph, temperature and comparability.

I have them add fertilizer daily, a bit before the lights go on, not once per week as the fertilizer bottles usually recommend (the weekly portion split into seven portions of course, not a weeks worth every day).
Not seen those before. they look interesting. My tank seems to be getting more and more gadgets!

I used to use it until it died and no longer works. Plus it struggled with my size of tank last time I tried and it worked.

I use it on my 6 foot aquarium ;)

I now have the site working thanks to @mikeyw64 instructions.
