Little toppas the babies Ric.

Your tank is one of those that make me want a big tank. I was looking at the aqua oaks yesterday.
64l kitchen tank: 16 golden tetra.
5ft 425L: 7 blue angel fish, 30 rummie nose tetra, 20 black neon tetra, 1 longfin bristlenose plec, 2 corydoras sterbai, 2 SAE.

Thanks Andy - nice to know that my little efforts might inspire others.
This tank is about the maximum size I enjoy. Its manageable, allows the fish I like plenty of room and I can change things around easily. :)

Honestly, stick 'em in and see what happens. Just a little bit of general liquid fertilizer when I remember and away they grow :angel: :rolleyes:

I am losing the battle against my Sailfin pleco constantly uprooting my planted plants Ric :( My floating plants are very slowly progressing which is good :)

Ah, of course. But that is just due to the fish you keep, nothing to do with your ability to grow plants. How about potting up some amazon swords, cover with shingle/slate/thick layer of gravel and then position the pots so they're a bit hidden by the rest of the décor.

Ooh that sounds like a nice idea. So you just put them in an ordinary pot? I think it would certainly be the way forward with him in the tank :)
