No difference at all.
You might find that using 2x 6400k, 1x 2500k, 1x 10000k will give you a wide spectrum with a nice 'daylight' look
I've used 14000k, purple, pink, blue plus, 6400k and 2500k tubes over the years and a good mix works well.
[/quote]That's food for thought on them K ratings however could suddenly changing K ratings on some bulbs upset the tank as in algae appear as I know in marine if you play around with spectrum to much it can promote algae growth is it worth altering anything if everything is fine ?

Just a quick one as well.
Warm/tropical are about 2500-3000k, Natural/Nature tubes are around the 4000k mark ( more yellow tubes ), Daylight's are the 6500k
It can cause issues, best to change one tube and and keep an eye on everything for a month
If what you have is working well, might not be worth playing with

So, why are you worried about lighting and algae again?
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it!
Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

Thanks all with my birthday only a few days away the other half asked what I wanted so she decided to get me a spare 2L ista CO2 bottle this makes fill ups easier as I'll always have a full bottle on standby I said you may as well get me something useful I'll actually use [emoji23]
She is actually getting into the tank as well which is nice and has an input.
Oh and little man just over 3 weeks old now [emoji3059]
