The zebra danios seem to be doing well, gave them a tiny pinch of flakes, they soon ate it!
Now sat trying to decide what to add next...

Back to backing: I've tried 2 green plants/ferns and one blue sand/water/ripples, but have gone for this black/roots one.
I think it goes with the wood and black Limpopo, what do you think?

That makes the colours "pop", and you'll see the fish better.
If at first you don't succeed....

I think the background looks good as it blends in well.

thanks again, keeping the background, it looks amazing now its dark and the RGB lights are on.
Today I added a few Corys, the shop didn't have much in, so got 2 albino, 1 pepper and 3 bronze! All doing great from what I can tell, dropped in a large algae pellet and they've all had a go at it.

They need meat protein, not veg. They do eat veg, but it isn't nutritious enough for them.

The fish had defrosted bloodworm today, I give them different food on a rota, although they all seem to eat whatever is on offer, floating, sinking, veg, meat etc ... Maybe they are always hungry?
Today I added 8x penguin tetra, 6x redeye tetra and 6x harlequin raspora. That's it for a week, next I want to add a few brightly coloured fish, in pairs maybe. Went to a new shop today, they have some neon red dwarf gourami and some marked as gold honey gourami: I thought gold and honey were different varieties!
Can I add pairs of these, or what colourful fish do you suggest?
Ammonia 0, Nitrite 0, Nitrate 5, pH 7.0, added 16 ml Stability
One more question: how do I stick the backing to the outside of the tank? its stuck in places, but has lots of areas where its not quite touching, and looks awful!
