Looking good and good to hear the fish are all doing well.
Perhaps you can put a plant request here or in the advert section? Someone might be able to post you some spares...

Been testing with some wave makers and they definitely help stop so much stuff landing on the bottom (a bit of a problem with such a deep tank) but not sure the fish like them much, think I need some smaller ones.
I did find some nice infinetely variable speed ones but at £300 odd I thought a bit ripe

Tbh I think if the tank was brand new you wouldn't have any problems with leaks but really I've only spent a few quid on some silicon I'd like to replace some of the pipework eventually but it's a bit difficult ow the tank is full.

The WiFi sockets work perfectly, timer for the lights and the wave makers and if I have wet hands when I'm feeding/doing a water change I can just say "ok Google turn the pump off" to my Sonos speaker

Out of curiosity I did look at the prices for the ones I have and they are north of £200 for 4 of them and the controller! Not bad for a £50 tank! Might try and sell them to pay for something a bit less powerful

completly slipped my mind.

How about one or two of these, small , relatively low flow (but still some flow) and cheap (had one in Fireplace for a bit then moved it behind the foam in Castle just to help move water around through the back area

Just to update, for some reason spending this much time at home I have found myself paying less attention to the tank. Still doing the weekly water changes etc.

I guess it was more something I did after work sit there watching my tank to de-stress a bit. Everything has been going fine until today I found a dead gourami... Only 2 left now, water was changed yesterday and water showing 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 20ish nitrate. Tested as soon as I got the gourami out.

Some reason they just don't seem to last great in my tank... However I just did a head count after removing the gourami and realised I can only count 6 rummy noses instead of the 8 there should be, no sign of them anywhere. Not sure what's happened or when there was less than 8 tbh as I haven't been counting them as much lately as everything seemed pretty stable so they might have been missing for a week honestly
