Future plans
As we're moving house (within Dorset and still a hard water area) in to our own property (yay!) I'll be looking to upgrade both tanks.

I could either get a new big tank, move everything across from old big tank, then keep the old big tank and move everything from the little tank into it before getting rid of the little tank.
OR
Get a new small tank, move everything across from small tank, get rid of old small tank.

As we're due to have a little boy in February (my first!), whatever the option I need ensure it's set-up and needing little maintenance before February, or at least in a state my husband can maintain with direction.

Starting to research the different tanks available atm :)

Wahey! Welcome (& HUGE congrats!)!
Just think of the baby as the most complicated pet you've ever taken on & you'll be fine.

Broadstone, we've been renting here for over a year now. Moving west to near Tolpuddle. A shame in one way as getting further from my favourite LFS, the Wilton Maiden Aquatics!

Welcome to the group, seems like a long time since I was keeping track of your 'new' big tank, it must be well settled in now. I don't suppose there would be room for keeping the big tank and then replacing the small one with.... another big tank :D
Congrats on the forthcoming baby and glad to see you've stuck with the rainbows
