Hey no problem @Martinspuddle I enjoy reading the comments, it's gone waaaay past my limited understanding though, and I don't have any 10year olds handy that could translate! Should think it's about time I updated the log so will be back in a little while to write 'something fishy'

Looking good. Love how the wood on one side and the ludwigia on the other frame the tank.

No change for the 350 tank, only they have a new log to clean up which they always seem to enjoy, so though I would introduce some of the residents,
Stocking in this tank includes

7 Blue Rainbowfish (lake Kubutu) the whole reason for this tank now planning them another upgrade!

6 Scissortail rasboras, like these nearly as much as the rainbows, they don't swim lengths mostly they hang out in the open water near the back, but when they want to move they are seriously fast, it's like warp speed, you don't even see it but one minute they are there in font of you and the next somewhere else,

1 lake inle danio the last in the shop, would love more but it will have to wait for the upgrade,

some tiger barbs these look great now they are full grown everyone says they are trouble but mine are really shy I don't see them much,

Black ruby barbs 2 fat females and 1 smaller hen pecked male, bold and active but where the tigers have really grown on me these haven't, expect I will rehome them eventually, think I just like fish with more subtle colouration,

2 Black Widows, were in the 180 for some time but got too big and had to be transferred had them quite a while, would love more eventually, they are very unassuming and look great as they just just drift gently through the grasses

some emperor tetras, bit of an impulse buy as the tank needed some colour, although small they often swim at the front so don't look as lost as I might have expected, they are doing well so far

6 African glass cats new purchase, doing well so far, they are really interesting move constantly like tiny sharks, have 2 feelers that they stick out to sense things that's quite cute, also their stomach swells after feeding so it looks like a hamsters pouch or something, they are mid level swimmers quite shy but compete well for food so that's a relief

2 synodontis petricola,
2 whiptails 1 brown 1 red
bristlenose had 2 adults which bred 3 babies survived unable to catch the babies so rehomed the female, unable to remove the male from his log so he stayed!
Bill n Ben my 2 Siamese algae eaters that outgrew the 180 had them nearly 3yrs quite attached to them now
some dwarf chain loach
3 still quite small polka dot loaches
oh and an overgrown bronze cory but that's a story in itself
right now to find some pics....

I love the wood and plants in your tank :)

The Black Widows are lovely in the right tank. We only have one left, but the other residents seem happier not to have a big group of them, so no more for us.
