leaning up against the back glass. The back of the wood is all hollow, which is where the Amano and harlequins like to hang out ( and chase each other )

Hrm and it manages to stay there ok? Just wondering how to do something similar in my big tank but I think I'd need to anchor it down.

@F3l1ss it does, the only thing that moves are the two plants wedged in the back. Sometimes I wake up to find one floating around the tank

Everyone is super healthy after today’s check. The Amano shrimp have gone really dark in the black water setup.
The shrimp are currently turning 5 oak leaves into skeletons in under a week! Might need to increase the numbers a bit!

I've ordered some red root floaters to give a bit of surface cover. They only go red when under high lighting so will be interesting to see.
