With the hardness of my water and adding to it with Limestone will i then have to soften still? PH would be pretty much on point with Limestone in there at least.

How about some plastic edging, similar to grass edging?
Alternately some inert gravel in old stockings/tights for height.

All the best

You won't need to soften it for Tangs, Lake Tanganyika is almost liquid rock. ;)
Why would you want to soften it for Rift Lake cichlids anyway? Lake Malawi is almost as hard as Tanganyika.

What's the thoughts on leaning lighter rocks against the tank's glass? I just need 30cm of height with river rocks I think in the corner.

The Rift valley lakes water is very hard up to 20dGH or even 30dGH in places.
Your Norwich water is ideal at around 18dGH ;]

So a busy week in my boring work world has meant slower updates, thankfully though i am closer to fish in the big tank. The tank is cycled thanks to media from my little tank and the cycle being kept somewhat going by my Rasbora.

My smaller tank now has the slate in and some plants to look more natural and is nearly complete for me.

Today i got some more fish to eventually finish off the smaller 60l tank, unfortunately the shop assistant was too nice though and after asking for 3 Peppered Cory, 3 more Harlys and a piece of wood with Java on it I ended up with 3 Cory, 5 Harly and 3 Amano shrimp for the same price! I let them bag my fish up and leave it at the counter whilst I got other supplies quickly and only checked it when I got home. I am now a little worried 16 Rabora, 6 Peppered Cory, the Betta, 5 Amano Shrimp and 2 Zebra Snails are too much bioload for my 60 comfortably. Anyway pictures of the fish and smaller tank!

Now something peculiar has happened in my 240L tank, a seed looks to have gotten in there and has started to grow. I have no idea how it got in there or what it is (Maybe was in the gravel?) Can anyone help ID and should I take it out?

I would say you are a little over-stocked but not by too much.
It depends are which filter you are using. You will need a filter that pumps 500L/h (minimum) for the stocking level (when all the fish are adult size).
I would say that 9 or 10 x Rasbora would be better together with the other stock.

Your tank looks good though ::thumbu::

Thanks Stephen! Happier with the more natural look, fake plants were just a temporary measure for me.

I was cutting the line with 14 Rasbora anyway 16 just makes me a bit more nervous. I think the default in the CFBio150 is 360l/h. I think I could just get a 500l/h water pump though and it would fit right in there so could be an easy fix. If I get a 600l/h and add some more filter material (Sponge etc) would that be acceptable with stocking as is do you think?
