That's my thinking: problem is the 160 is full of young platys until the shop takes some, otherwise I'd have more in there.
Looks like I need another tank....

The chances of interbreeding are actually pretty small. Lineage are capable of breeding with their own lineage but again will always prefer their own type.
Even if interbreeding did occur it's only really a problem if you wanted to sell fry as it brings more identification issues into the equation. I've had over 160 different species of Cory and never had a cross.

I'd never considered interbreeding! I've only ever seen one lot of cory eggs, that was in my 160 tank. Hopefully when I get them together I'll have more chance of having babies!
