Yes of course. The fish came from someone who is on the same water supply as myself so there should be no issues there but it's good to check those things. He/she seems fine though other than that thing on the back. And since adding the Melafix and garlic, it has not gotten any worse. I am getting Pimafix today so will add that too and hopefully that will sort it.

Looks a bit like the secretion of a gland behind the dorsal often seen in C.aeneus

Ines is absolutely fine! It's almost gone and looks like a thin line now, bit like a scar. I'm really glad you guys are here to help, you've saved my wee Ines :heart: thank you from both of us :grin:

PS: that spot is on the glass, not on the fish. Reminded me to clean :cry:
