16 on this morning's count. Pictures are impossible with the colour of them. They're virtually transparent except their eyes.

Still hatching, 20+ fry now. Very bizarre, but here's a few pictures cropped to a few different levels. I find cropping a handy way of telling if the yolk sac is still in place as my eyes don't focus well on something so small. No food for these

My little one sterbai is weeks old today. I don’t see him feeding and he’s not active. Definitely grown and darkened in colour. He’s just hiding all the time . Is it normal?
Shall I add some sand to the tank so he has more confidence?

It's fairly normal for them to be inactive. I've always kept them on sand but I didn't know if that's right or wrong.

The 2nd batch has now hatched and I have between 30 and 40 fry. Started feeding today as the first load have used their egg sacks. I'll move them into what I temporarily had the discus in at the weekend but I think I'll remove most of the sand so I can actually see their progress and remove any losses.

The joys of the current situation, I tested positive for Covid. Only have a tiny cough and not particularly unwell, so I have a bit of time to sort something out for the fry. As I bought my old ND Aquatics tank up for the discus briefly I've kept it to bring on the fry, just with some leaves, alder cones and a sponge filter. Just waiting for it to clear and warm up and the fry are ready to go in.

And here are the fry, they're growing nicely now

I'm not unwell really, so I'm not concerned. Just a very minor cough. Hopefully this vaccine is good to stop this as it's very boring now!

Ack sorry to hear about the Covid... but congratulations on the fry!

At some point, would you mind giving me a quick rundown of your procedure for hatching cory eggs and raising fry? I would love to read what you do as you seem to have good success. I have read so many different things (airstones, methylene blue, different first foods etc) that my brain is boggling. I am hoping my cories will start to breed next year so would like to be prepared!
