When buying Corydoras I now take a bottle of Melafix and a syringe with me and add 2 drops to each bag to help prevent stress.
When Corydoras get stressed they can excrete a toxin and if in a transport bag that toxin can kill all the occupants of the bag.

Thats quite handy to know about the melafix method.

Think there's much chance of this wee guy improving or would it be kinder to euthanise?

The guy I bought them from was breeding all-sorts in his shed and had them well-bagged surprised he hadn't done that being a cory guy.

This is a good idea.
When acclimatising I also pop some more as the water balances and then a drop to the tank as they go in.

Found the wee struggling one dead this morning, the rest seem to be settling in well though thankfully.

Think they're fine enough in a group of 7 given the tank size with a BN in there or maybe add 1 or 2 more?

These are fair coming along now with some size & colour, still a bit on the shy side buy they do look great when they venture out.

Had to stop myself from buying a single skunk Cory the other day, stood there reasoning with myself giving it "aye but they're kind of the same 😂" have to learn I can't rehome every lonely looking fish in a store 😂.
