Had three goldies in the tank together for about 3 months now, two gold fantails and a black fantail. Today I notice one of the golds is chasing the other, and the black joined in for a bit. Two questions is this bullying or are they making night jiggy. And if they are doing the feed what are they like as parents? Going to be fun trying to find dry in a planted tank. As an aside how do you sex goldies? Can't see any difference between the three. TIA jeff

Males in the mood get breeding tubercles... little whitish dots on their cheeks and pectoral spines.

They’ll eat the eggs as soon as they’ve finished (they can’t buy pizza), so you’ll have to remove them to get fry.

I'll have good look. Really hope it's not bullying.

Well the chasing seems to have stopped. All three look the same, thought tubercles were like the nostrils. Couldn't see any spots of any sort. With any luck they were just being boisterous. Always thought goldfish were peaceful.

Maybe the one in front had some food the others wanted...?

They were firing round the tank for about a hour. All peaceful now.
