Hi,
I was at Maidenhead Aquatics Oxford several weeks ago and they had a species in stock that caught my interest. However, I managed to forget the name before I could do more research.
The fish had what I would describe as a foot or appendage on their stomach they were using to stick to the glass. Only other info that I can remember was that they were all one solid colour (dark purplish) and the description said they are best kept in small groups.
Does this ring a bell with anyone or could you point me in the direction of some similar species?
What species?

Sounds like a goby. Their ventral fins cup together to provide suction.
Blue Neon Goby, Stiphodon atropurpureus ?

I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.
