He went straight down the u-bend.
I've scrubbed my hands twice, but I swear I can still smell him on my fingers.

Dead things should go in the recycling, not flushed......just in case.....you, or worse still I, end up drinking the water sometime in the future.....!! ;)
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

All the waste water etc. we throw away goes into the water system, be it through the sewers or ground drainage, all ends up in the same pot! Saying that, our waste products are quite literally a (micro) drop in the ocean, things like medicines and hormones, antibiotics, chemical and farm wastes are a zillion times worse and the major problems facing our earths' clean water supplies :O

All the older landfill sites are leaching waste into the water supply, its only in the last few years that their impact has been recognised as a problem. New landfill sites have massive waterproof linings, rainfall and liquid waste etc. is channelled into holding tanks where its treated before being released back into the system.
A dead fish or snail flushed down the bog won't do a single thing to our water quality, sadly its gone way beyond such basic pollutants causing concern... :(
