One of the phantoms keeps going to surface as kf wanti g oxygen and noticed a white patch on rasboras head

Yeah so i see one rasbora woth white patch on head and another with tiny white bit on mouth, and a Phantom tetra going to surface gasping for air then back down again, columnaris maybe?

It sounds like the oxygen content of the water is low - does the surface move from the filter flow?
It could be columnaris with the white patches. I can't remember what treats that besides a daily 20 minute bath in untreated tapwater (the chlorine kills the pathogen), but you can't do that if there's also chloromines in the tapwater.

Yeah its git glass lily pipes on and skimmer so gas release should be good, i started course of esha2000 last night and se3 how that goes , the tank is well balanced and been going for about7 months now no algae so bit miffed why all of a sudden its happening

Have the fish been stressed lately by noises or any smelly things brought in the house, or even fighting?

No nothings changed really except i added a couple of sae someone gave me about a month ago, just thought i probs need to take purigen Out of medicating aye

The SAE will be too big eventually (they need at least a 4' tank), but....I wonder if they came in with something that they're immune to but the espei aren't?
It may be worth a course of Esha 2000 together with Esha Exit to clear (most) possible problems.
