Not sure if I have asked this before but Im struggling to get my Albino Koi Guppies to drop more than afew fry. Is this common?

I breed afew other non-albino strains, nothing fancy, which seem to drop 40-60 fry a a time.

I've not even seen albinos, but I would imagine they've been bred down so much there could be "problems" like few fry.

I wondered the same as Ian, as i cant say ive seen an albino guppy, and considering how colourful they can be it must’ve taken some line breeding to get them to albino.

I have imported some for Indonesia, as well has purchase some from Trop Co. They do seem noticeably weaker and take longer to grow to adulthood than mutt guppies. I hoping the fry will be a little stronger than the parents, ive also started introducing no albino females to the males to see where that goes.

These are sold as albino koi from Trop Co, but the pictures on their site is quite different. I do like them, they just seem much weaker and prone to dying without any reason.

Been trying to strengthen the albinos by breeding with non albino females. The fry have started colouring up and they are pink!
