Predator Aquatics

Post by Last Triumph »

Anyone used Predator Aquatics?

I'm reluctant to buy online, but can't find a quality Rotkeil locally with decent shoulder colour.

No idea man, but that's a punk rocker of a fish! ::thumbu::

Only thing I would say, is don't judge the colour by how they look in a shop tank! Good feed better environment and age, would promote the colour 10 fold.
Aquamanta 90L Nano
6 Cardinal Tetra
6 Harlequin Rasbora
4 Pepper Cory
6 Galaxy Rasbora
6 Cherry Shrimp
3 Amano Shrimp
... More to come...

Not used them but they've a decent enough reputation.

I very much doubt they are posting at the moment with the cold weather and Christmas.

Understood re diet and age etc but I bought what I was told was a Rotkeil previously and waited and waited and waited fore the colour to come in.... any colour. Nada. Grew him to 6" and not a whiff of red anywhere. He was a Green Sev in disguise, so I'm just keen to make sure the next one is the real deal.

Just for the record, visited Predator Aquatics today and came home with a lovely Rotkeil Severum.
Nice, friendly, helpful guys up there, lots of fish and interesting species - would recommend.

Love severums, but never had a tank big enough. Pic?

He's out of hiding now and happy to be photographed - plucky little fella.

Can't wait for him to grow and his red shoulder to develop.
