Armstrong's is long gone BG. I used to get all of the fish for my tank from there when I was a youngun. I loved a visit, they had all sorts.black ghost wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 10:04 am There used to be a very good shop in Sunderland right outside Roker Park football ground, called Armstrong’s Aquatics. No idea if it’s still there...
Avoid Betta Aquaria in Newcastle. A long time ago when it was on Shields Rd it was the best shop in the north by far. Till it got sold and moved. Last time I went it was awful.

I used to get driven over from Carlisle occasionally as a young’un. Armstrongs and Betta (we had family friends in Sunderland). Got my first ever BG from there. I remember the big Asian Arowana in the display tank.Andys temperate tank wrote: ↑Thu Jan 21, 2021 10:18 am
