If you're doing this anyway, there must be something that's causing it that needs to be changed.
Change one thing at a time (starting with dried food) so you don't stop something that's ok.
I always assume it's dried food if there are constipation problems, live food if it's affecting the whole fish.

Think I've worked it out.
About 3 weeks ago (when I swapped the Ottos for the Embers) I switched from frozen Daphnia (and the odd bloodworm) to micro granules
