I only had 2, but that was because I was told they were a morph of Honey Gourami when they weren't. Dispersing aggression only works when there's so many in sight that they don't know who to go for. 4 is definitely not enough for that. There's a reason why Malawi Cichlids are so heavily stocked.

In an ideal world I’d have a hundred of them but five is plenty for my tank size. How many have you got?
I’ve got 8 at the moment. Would like a couple more but not found any large enough yet.
