🐠 platy swimming vertically should I be worried?

What guys think option A treat the tank for bladder... or.... option B leave her be and see what happens over the next 3 days?

Looks a strange one that.

Swim Bladder Disease normally, as i've seen, tips the fish horizontally not vertically but that's not to say it couldn't. I've also checked a few things on the web and it looks possible. It also looks at though she's in a tight spot trying to get air so can you remove her to a separate tank/place to see if her behaviour changes? if it doesn't i would treat or stop feeding for the 3 days etc..

I think she's not long dropped fry (as I said on your main thread ).
Maybe she's taking longer to recover than previously.

So it looks like she giving birth but have real trouble with it...
As today I find alot of new fry platy in pretty much the same spot as she in...
she still in same spot doing the same thing so I don't think she done.

I didnt notice she was still a bit square when i first watched the video, she will hopefully return to normal after giving birth.
I wonder if the fry can press on the swim bladder causing the issue of swimming vertically. But I can say I havent seen it before.

So update... for last hour she been resting on the filter holder
I think it not a good out come she does swim around but with great differently.
I think she exhausted from trying to keep off the bottom.

I think she may have dropped her last batch of fry, it does exhaust them, and the older they are the worse it is (also if they're very young).

so still having trouble with her... only now 90 of time she resting... should I try treat her for swim bladder? Is there anything I can do other then a hospital area for her?

I think she is probably worn out from doing what livebearers do unfortunately.
