We have 2 aquariums that are breeding.
If the stocking gets too much for the aquariums, where do you recommend taking the excess stock? I’m not looking at starting a business, and can’t be bothered with shipping on eBay or whatever.
Any tips? UK based
What to do with excess stock?

Shops may not be as eager to take them as you'd think especially if the fish is a prolific breeder and they are offered them a lot.
It can't hurt to try but your long term answer may be to make your tanks a little less fry friendly.

This, depending on what the fish are and what your tank size is there may be a bit of a predator you can add jnyLookoutTrout wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 8:00 am Shops may not be as eager to take them as you'd think especially if the fish is a prolific breeder and they are offered them a lot.

Some shops may take them but they’ll probably need to be of ‘saleable size’, so you may have to raise them to near adulthood first.
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.
