The coral sand should add carbonates, just keep an eye on the overall hardness as well in case if you do use it. I dont think a small amount would effect the hardness but it should help with the carbonates.

Back in gear today with a reduction to 0.25 of ammonia and nitrites have dropped a bit again 🤞
