Hi everyone.
So set up the tank a few months ago and 4 weeks ago added my first fish. 1st fish in the tank were 5 swordtails in various colours such as wagtails, pineapple, marble and a koi. Unknown to me 2 of the fish I purchased happened to be pregnant and gave birth a week later.
The fry are now getting to a good size and all are coloured apart from 5 of them. Now having kept fish for some time have had plenty of swords have babies the colours that I now have are a little strange to me.
I have 2 that are all silver and 3 that are currently transparent.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks

Hi, welcome to the forum. Do you have pictures?
I don't keep fish, I keep water. Water keeps fish.

So managed to get 1 image of the odd colour fry. There are 3 this colour when all the others that were born at the same time and are equal in size are now either pineapple, marbled or orange/red. Am just confused.

Can I see green tinges?
That would make them a possible throw-back to the wild colouration.

If at first you don't succeed....

Well I did wonder that but thought I was seeing things. Well I suppose I will have to wait and see.
