Help identify the last hitch hiker from new plants

Post by Kelz88 »

 I'm so confused we recently set up our new aquarium well around 6 weeks ago now all was going great brought a plant and some moss balls from pets at home wanting some live plants for the fish anyway we must have had some hitch hikers or eggs not quite sure but we ended up with 7 baby fry no idea what species all but one died in the first week this little guy has been going strong but slow growing for around 5 weeks now and I still have no idea what fish it is I've search through Google used Google lense and they all say zebra danio I'm not quite sure though as this little guy is still soooo tiny and from certain angles is completely see through can any one identify the breed by looking at these pictures and let me know if he's doing ok for 5 weeks I think it's maybe growing too slow would be a shame to lose the last one after so many weeks

Welcome to the forum. :)
What other fish do you have?
It could well be a danio (and would have come in on the moss balls if you don't have adults).
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

The eggs must have come in on the moss then.
I doubt you'll keep it very long with goldies....

It's in a separate tank I went and brought a small tank with built in filter just for the fry 😂 it's 5 weeks old now just hoping it keeps growing strong

Small food for it, Tetra do a "Baby" food which is almost dust.
Small frozen like cyclops will also help. :)
Don't overfeed though. ;)
