250l Tanganyikan stocking list thoughts

Post by Macgenie »

Hi guys,

After doing my research I've settled on a Tanganyikan tank.

I have an Aqua One 250l tank, planted with lots of rocks and dark fine gravel, plenty of hidey holes.

Water parameters are currently:
GH 180
KH 80
PH 7.5
No2 0
No3 40
Ammonia 0

Is the stocking list below appropriate?

I'm not a cichlid expert by any means....but...
I'm not sure how the multies will fare with the bigger fish, and the juli may be a bit more aggressive than the rest.
Wait for a better answer from someone more experienced with Tangs..... ;)
If at first you don't succeed....
...get someone else to do it! :D

Enjoy your fish, shrimps and snails!

I'm also not experienced with tangs but if you could give the dimensions of the tank, I know some cichlids you'll care more about surface area than volume in terms of managing aggression.
