I first got into the hobby at age 6 when I used to help my father maintain his 4-foot tank, later after leaving home I started to keep tanks of my own including two six-foot tanks.
After getting married and the arrival of children a mix of time space and money resulted in me leaving the hobby.
Now at age 55 I am collecting tanks again and getting back into the hobby. I am medically retired, and my children are all grown and left the nest so time, money, and space are in sufficient numbers to enjoy this very special hobby.
Getting into things once again has shown me tho just how much things have changed in the time I have been away so there is plenty to learn.
