plants added include
Water sprite
Crypt Balansae
Crypt Wendii brown
Monte Carlow
Hydrocotyle Tripartita Japan

For some reason my pictures wont post so will come back to this post to post pics later..

To mis-quote "Jaws": You're gonna need a bigger plant order :D

Looking forward to the pics ;)

Today was new tank day, I forgot how much work setting up a new tank is, some things worked well others not so much but at least I have not yet flooded the house, :)

attached new length of hose to syphon that worked a treat, drained half the water out of the 350 into the garden no bother, it needed a large water change as I took all the long grass runners out plus the Sessiliflora for the new tank, it now looks pretty bare, I do have a plan to totally revamp it but that will not be for at least a few weeks
Sadly the connector I got for the kitchen tap wont work as I can't get the end bit to unscrew, have ordered a different one now, still 50% success with new hoses so not too bad,
The Emperor Tetras really liked having the stem plants floating in the tank even showing some possible spawning behaviour though I never saw any eggs, if I get sufficiently bored I might set the 15l up put a couple of them in there to see if anything happens, likely to busy again soon with work though so perhaps not,
Also I was really pleased with my new algae scraper, it's just a better version of a credit card but makes things a lot quicker - it's the little things!
